Newest Members of our Family...Baby Chicks!

Aren't they the cutiest! Six lil' chickies have come to live with us. Our goal is to have fresh home grown eggs every day or so in about 5 months, but we shall see about that. I have fond memories of collecting eggs at my Grandma's ranch when I was small and wanted to make some fun memories for my grandkids too! Plus, we get the added bonus of something good to eat...the eggs, not the chickens themselves...ewwwww...I don't think I could do that, especially after we name them, lol!
They will be ready for the backyard chicken coop in a month or so. Hope the neighbors don't mind.

I have a new home!

Hi all... I have some wonderful news! For those of you who like my artwork and bought my creatables at PcCrafter.com...I am now selling NEW art at Aimeeasher.com  It has been a bit of a struggle, but I finally worked out a few contract issues with Provo Craft and I am now free to sell new art once again!!!

  I didn't realize how much I missed creating and painting... It had been a while since I sat down and painted new art and I'm happy to report that I've got my groove back...My first set is a fun Spring/Easter art collection "Springville Express" . I can't wait to start on my next set. I want to thank all my loyal followers for sticking with me the last few months. I welcome ideas for new art and look forward to the adventures that await! For the animal lovers.....

Wow! The sun is shining and it's going to be almost 70 degrees today...It is hard for me to work in my studio with the glorious sun begging me to come outside to play.

My art studio is in our basement with no windows...uhg! I do have so much artwork to do...But I do need a few groceries and I need to get a birthday gift for our grandson...

...maybe a short trip out won't hurt! LOL! I think that spring fever's got the best of me.

In the mean time...My sister has been workin' hard...She has designed the most adorable puppy and kitty treat boxes...please go check them out...Hope the sun is shining where you live! Hugs, Laurie

Something to help brighten your day...

Are you all as tired of winter as I am? I think I'm going stir CrAzY!!! We were some of the fortunate ones that got 20+ inches of snow last week...We finally dug ourselves out of that and now the temps are below zero...Brrrrrrr...and it snowed again! I would do almost anything to be on a warm sunny beach in some far away exotic land right now... Only in my dreams I guess...LOL! But it's nice to dream!

One thing that brightens my snow covered freezing day is getting a card in the mail...I tells me that I'm not alone in this great big world and that someone cares about little ol' me...and it make me smile. My sister made up the cutest Bumblebee card ( I'm a sucker for Bumblebees) I think I will make some today and send them to some of the people in my life that I think could use a smile too...Try to stay warm!  Hugs, Laurie

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year  Everyone!...I always like the start of a new year. It's a time for new beginnings, a time to change bad habits... ugh... ( I threw out all the left over holiday goodies!) I promise I will eat healthier, exercise more, etc. etc, etc....We will see how long it lasts...LOL!

It's time to start thinkin' Valentine's Day and here's a cute card by Andrea, one of the High Hope's Guest Dives! She used one of my favorite stamps "Ton of Love Ellie"  Gets me in the mood...to start workin' on more valentine stuff...lol! Happy Crafting!
